POWERMITE MAX Split is a 24 mm cap-sensitive emulsion explosive. The product is packaged with a plastic tube and used for face contour holes during shots. The lock mechanism enables all tubes to get interlocked and provides a charge series without any disruption. Due to its low diameter value, the air gap between the product and the hole diameter acts as a control mechanism to reduce the detonation energy, which limits damage to face walls and ceiling that can be caused by the detonation shock and prevents over waste and over excavation works.

POWERMITE MAX Split can be used for all formations and holes regardless of the water level. The product has a negative oxygen balance, which makes it impossible to release deadly NOx gasses after the shots and usually reduces the ventilation duration.

Application

POWERMITE MAX Split is used as the main charge for all face shots with a hole diameter of 32-45 mm range as well as all underground blast applications in underground metal mining, tunnel and underground channel construction projects, etc.
